These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the myfavicon website and favicon generation service (the "Service"), operated by myfavicon ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
myfavicon is an online tool that converts images you provide into website favicons in ICO and PNG formats. A free tier is available and runs locally in your browser. Paid plans ("myfavicon Pro") add features such as ad-free output, HD watermark-free exports, SVG export, AI icon generation, and batch processing.
2. Accounts and Plans
- The free tier does not require registration.
- Paid plans are billed on a monthly or yearly subscription basis and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. When you purchase a paid plan, your order is processed by Paddle and Paddle's terms apply to the transaction. We do not store your full payment card details. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to process images you do not have the right to use, to upload unlawful or infringing content, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to resell the Service without our written permission.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the images you process and to the favicons you generate. The myfavicon name, logo, website design, and underlying code are owned by us and are protected by applicable laws.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated files will be suitable for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
